The true every-man’s grass, Centipede is a medium-bladed grass with a light green color and slow growth habit. Known for its low-maintenance requirements, Centipede can survive on the margins of neglect, but can also win yard-of-the-month with a little TLC.

Tifway 419 Bermuda
A proven classic for a reason, Tifway 419 Bermuda has a deep-green color and fine blade. It thrives in full sun and provides an excellent, soft play surface for athletic fields, golf courses, and home lawns.

Celebration Bermuda
With a deep blue-green color, Celebration Bermuda is great for high traffic. Got kids, dogs, or a whole sports team? Commercial traffic? Celebration can take the abuse and bounces back quickly. Soft, spongy, with a fine leaf, it’s also drought tolerant and thrives at the beach. Slightly more shade tolerant than Tifway 419, it still does best in sunny areas.

Empire Zoysia
Like going barefoot? The soft, wide blades of Empire Zoysia are a treat. With a dense growth habit, it is an excellent choice for families with kids and dogs. It is also highly drought tolerant, and can go longer between waterings with excellent recovery.

Emerald Zoysia
Want a show-stopping, Southern-Living-looking lawn? Emerald Zoysia will provide the results you’re looking for! Dense growing with a fine, stiff texture, it is unrivaled in uniformity with a bright, emerald-green color. It thrives along the coast, with a high-tolerance for salt. Quality Turf provided Emerald Zoysia for HGTV’s 2022 Smart Home.

Raleigh St. Augustine
A favorite for the beach and under trees, Raleigh St. Augustine is best known for its shade and salt tolerance. It does well in sandy soils, with a coarse broad leaf and quick-spreading growth.

Coming in 2026! This latest release from NC State is already making waves for its ability to thrive with less water, less fertilizer, and less mowing. With a soft, medium texture and deep green color, Lobo is a wonderful choice for home lawns, commercial spaces, and golf courses.

Now available! This new-and-improved St. Augustine was developed by NC State with research trials right here at Quality Turf. It boasts twice the shade tolerance of Raleigh St. Augustine, is more resistant to pests and disease, and is more drought tolerant.
